The original fluorescent versions of these lights were often seen lighting up local fairground rides. However, over time, their poor energy efficiency ratings, and clunky technology, meant that they were soon replaced by better lighting solutions. As a result, fluorescent fairground lighting became quite unpopular and slowly faded from use.
Now though, thanks to energy-efficient, long-life technology, and the advent of LEDs, fairground lighting is an increasingly popular choice for businesses, shopfitters, and architects who want to offer a nostalgic lighting solution. Our LED Fairground Light Options
We stock just the one fairground lighting option. This is an E10 Cabochon, as mentioned, and is around 0.9W. These are fully customisable and prices for them start at £4.80 including VAT. The diamond radial effect means that light bursts out of every corner of the bulb, creating a truly incredible illumination.
These lights are available in cool white or warm white LED colours and each has its own unique applications. For instance, if you really wanted to stand out and show off your large signage, a cool white, that can be seen for several metres, would be more appropriate. Similarly, if you wanted something softer, then the fairground light in warm white may be more to your liking.
Whichever type of Cabochon you choose, we're confident that the technology housed inside it will offer constant light output, without any need for maintenance, for years and years to come.
