In 2006, with the launch of Pencil Light, a fluorescent trough light, we were the first to introduce the use of electronic ballasts within the trough lighting sector. Ahead of its time, this technology significantly reduced energy consumption and doubled the life span of fluorescent tubes when compared with conventional starters and gear trays.
In 2008 we began manufacturing LED trough lighting with the aim of providing a better product than our competitors, using better technology including silicone encapsulated IP67 LEDs and premium Tridonic LED drivers. Ultimately this further improved energy efficiency and product reliability, growing our reputation as a specialist sign lighting manufacturer.
In April 2017, after thorough development, we launched Nanolight. During the development process, every detail was scrutinised and refined. The end result is one of the most technologically advanced, slim LED trough lights on the market.
We are the first sign lighting manufacturer in the UK to achieve an IP66 rating against dust and water ingress in a trough light. Thanks to extensive research and the latest breakthrough technology, Nanolight achieves an efficiency of 190 lumens per watt and consumes 20% less power than competing units without compromising brightness.
All of our manufacturing processes, including powder coating, are carried out in-house. This enables us to focus on quality control and provide a quick turnaround. Our ongoing research and development ensure we accomplish our aim of providing better products whilst maintaining competitive pricing.
