The 3M Scotchlok UY2 splice connectors are now produced by Corning. UY2 Scotchlok connectors are well known for their fast installation, ease of use and reliability. UY2s are a solvent resistant splicing connector with factory installed gel sealant, once activated using a crimp tool, the gel sealant provides resistance against moisture and protects the copper conductors. Its small size reduces the splicing bundle O.D. to a minimum. It accepts two solid copper conductors ranging from AWG 26 - 19 and conductors that are between 0.4mm and 0.9mm in size.
